How to Keep Track of Exchange Rates

Do you need to keep an eye on a foreign currency rate or two? Want to have an idea about the EUR/USD pair or monitor how your home currency is doing compared to the Euro? I know many of us do, which is why I created a website that aggregates daily exchange rates from several central banks and presents them in RSS feeds.

Every day you can get free updates on a particular exchange rate posted by a particular central bank using e. g. Google Reader or other RSS feed reader. To put the price changes into context, each update comes with a chart of the ten latest rates.

This is an example of what the feed may look like:

The EUR/USD currency pair. Available at fx.vitasmid.com.

At the moment I am providing data by the European Central Bank, the Czech National Bank and the Reserve Bank of Australia. Feel free to write to me to suggest new data sources or other improvements.

Head over to the site – RSS Feeds of Foreign Exchange Rates – for the full list of available currency pairs!
